I’m a computer scientist with over a decade of experience using machine learning, artificial intelligence, data mining, distributed systems, and modeling to generate knowledge from data and tools to leverage it. I’m passionate about applying this knowledge across a great variety of fields and different problems.
Since 2015 I’ve been working with an amazing group of data scientists and engineers at Miner & Kasch, where we solve data science and artificial intelligence challenges with businesses across the world ranging from start-ups to fortune 20 companies. I received my Ph.D. (Dec 2012) and M.S. (2010) in Computer Science in the Artificial Intelligence group at the University of Maryland (UMD). I received my B.S. in Data Science at the College of Charleston in 2007, where I launched my path of applying data science to interdisciplinary work.
I grew up in Bavaria, Germany and became a US citizen in 2014 after having lived in the US for over a decade. In my personal time, I spend most of my time training Muay Thai. I also serve as Vice President to the Maryland Objectivists Society.
